Medication Management

After a thorough evaluation, a treatment plan will be devised with you to meet your mental health needs. Our goal is to provide safe and effective evidence-based medication treatment for you and to reduce the use of medications that may be causing harm or not providing benefit. Disorders we treat include attention deficit, anxiety, psychotic, depressive, mood, personality and substance use disorders. Suboxone treatment for opioid use disorder provided in partnership with Synergy Counseling Services, Greenwood, SC.

Pharmacotherapy Consultation

We provide consultations to primary care physicians who may have patients with mental illness and need assistance developing a specialized treatment plan. After initial face to face consultation via telehealth, our team will continue to provide support to the primary care physician either by telephone or electronic means and provide a written and verbal report. In these situations, we only provide recommendations, and the patient will continue under the care of their primary care physician.  

Therapy

We offer psychotherapy with medication management of your symptoms.  Our primary form of therapy is Cognitive Behavior Therapy. The goal is to help decrease your negative thoughts, beliefs and attitudes so that you will have more positive outcomes and behaviors.

Forensic Services

We provide forensic services to include several court evaluations for adults including criminal responsibility, competence to stand trial, aid to sentencing and fitness for duty evaluations. Another area of interest is to provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment of an individual facing court hearings and are in need services prior to and after a court ordered evaluation.
