Our Mission
At Total Care Psychiatry, our team of highly trained psychiatrists and clinical psychiatric pharmacists conduct a thorough review of your medications, medical history, and background information to identify any factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. If referred by your primary care provider, we can serve as expert consultants, offering our specialized knowledge to guide the treatment of your symptoms. Alternatively, you may choose to continue your psychiatric care with our team of professional healthcare providers. We also have a clinical pharmacist on staff to provide consultation on your treatment plan, symptom management, and medication monitoring. Leilani Lee, MD
Leilani Lee, MD is board certified in General Adult Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Lee has years of experience treating psychiatric disorder and her background includes Neuroscience Research at Columbia University, Psychiatry training at Stony Brook University and Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts. She completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Lee’s area of expertise also includes Correctional Psychiatry where she has worked in detention centers in New York, Massachusetts and continues to work in this setting in South Carolina. Her interest also includes working with veterans, college students, and patients with severe mental illness, including severe Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina where she is involved with training Forensic Psychiatry Fellows.

Katie Touma, PharmD
Katie Touma, PharmD is a South Carolina native and obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2013 from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. Dr. Touma completed her postgraduate residency training in psychiatric pharmacy with the Columbia VA Medical Center in 2015 and went on to work for the VA for years as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Mental Health. Her experiences include providing clinical services for the pharmacologic treatment of PTSD, Anxiety disorders, Depression and Bipolar disorder, Psychotic disorders, and Substance use disorders include tobacco use cessation. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy and psychiatric pharmacy.
